When Lola (Milena Smit) loses the babies she was expecting, she also loses her faith in God. In the hope of recovering it, Lola goes along with her husband Adolfo (Jaime Lorente) to a nuns’ convent where they get to know Tin and Tina, two angelic 7-year-old siblings to whom she feels strangely attracted. Although Adolfo doesn’t share his wife’s feelings for the two kids, they decide to adopt them. As time goes by, Lola becomes increasingly obsessed with the children and suspicious of them and their macabre religious games.
