LET THE CARNIVAL BEGIN!

Oscar-winning musician Jorge Drexler, a Uruguayan based in Spain known for his song «Al otro lado del río» from the movie «The Motorcycle Diaries,» takes us on a hedonistic documentary journey that closely links the carnival of Cádiz (Spain’s most important carnival) with that of Montevideo. A musical odyssey guided by producer and director Mariela Besuievsky, who is also a Uruguayan residing in Spain. Alongside Drexler, other prominent artists from the music scenes of both countries, such as Javier Ruibal, Pitufo Lombardo, Lobo Núñez, Jesús Bienvenido, and El Gómez, participate in this captivating voyage.
